Honda Odyssey still sales leader among vans
Honda’s Odyssey minivan took a major hit in sales during November, but the Alabama-built vehicle may still end up wearing the crown as the 2008 best seller in a segment that has been fading.
Odyssey sales plummeted 46 percent lastmonth to 7,294 from the previous year. For the year so far, the vehicle’s sales of 128,543 trail the same time frame in 2007 by 19 percent.
Compared to its competitors, however, the Odyssey is looking good. Its chief rival and the nation’s longtime top-selling minivan – Chrysler’s Dodge Caravan – has posted sales of 116,822 so far this year. WAIT! There is more to read… read on »
